Raksha Bandhan

Today is a day the whole country celebrates the bond of a brother-sister, where the brother promises protection to his sister, as the sister ties a string symbolizing her love. We at Iswar Sankalpa feel that today is a good to celebrate with our homeless clients – where we tie rakhi to each other, leaving aside the male-female cliché of this festival. We are sisters together, in this journey where we pledge protection to our clients and our hearts fill with all the love there is to share.

About the Event

All the clients from the outreach as well as the shelter programme were present at the Shelter, tying rakhi to each other. The staff of IS too tied rakhi to some clients. This was followed by listening to some popular music while enjoying the snacks.
